1977 Ibanez Artist EQ 2622 Steve Miller
Up for sale, a vintage 1977 Ibanez Artist EQ 2622 Steve Miller in Antique Violin finish, Made in Japan in Very Good condition with its original black tolex hard case.
10.2 Lbs which is average for this instrument.
All appears to be all original. The Artist EQ features the best in Ibanez Artist craftsmanship with the versatility of the lbanez EQ tone System, used by Steve Miller and others. Mahogany with carved maple top body, Rock Maple neck with Ebony fretboard and pearl-abalone-pearl inlays. Pickups are Super 80 with 3-way toggle switch. Ibanez Gibraltar locking bridge with sustain block and slotted tailpiece. Controls are Master volume, boost, bass, midrange, treble, three position pickups selector, EQ in out.
The neck is perfectly straight (truss rod works great), currently professionally set with a fresh set of D’addario Nickel. It plays really smooth.
Cosmetically, The guitar is in very good condition considering its age. It has some obvious patina, little dings, marks, scratches and edge wear only over the back of the body (binding is perfectly all over the places, no chips). Fretwise, these are original with some wear however still with some good life left. The high E tuner is missing a back part, it works fine but when there’s no string on it it will fall out, again still functional. Generally speaking the guitar is in great condition overall and in 100% fully functional, It comes with an aftermarket black tolex case that is in very good condition.
It will ship out to Continental US only. Local Pickup in LA is also available.
